true. but i think it's safe to assume that someone staying somewhat true to the style of art has a better shot at winning than someone who just does their own thing and totally deviates.

the style is what i'm referring to when seeing this concept. i think that's ultimately what people should keep in mind when coming up with stuff for this contest. more often, studios and animation companies want to see new concepts, but drawn "on model". in other words, their style. how else can they really see the character in the world that "they" created?

that's why i think this is a good piece. creative design and drawn closely on model.
